How to Find Tuxford House Hotel,

Recommended route & the best route during Illuminations.
From Leave the M6 at Junction 32 following the signs for the M55. Stay on the M55 for
12 miles to Blackpool. Do not turn off the M55 then straight on at roundabout with silver
figures dancing, following signs to 'South Shore & Main car parks' - Yeadon Way,
Straight on at Total petrol roundabout, right at next roundabout passing Aldi on left; left;
and left at lights, still passing Aldi on left. Cross bridge over Yeadon Way,
turn right at new roundabout into Lytham Road, (you'll see Blackpool Tower in distance)
Alexandra Road is the 5th on left, before a hotel with blue painted masonry. Tuxford
House is on the left.)
Alternative Route.
From Leave the M6 at Junction 32 following the signs for the M55. Stay on the M55 for
12 miles to Blackpool. Do not turn off the M55 Follow the signs for Lytham St Annes to
the end of the M55.
At the end of the motorway you will come to a roundabout with silver figures dancing.
Turn left onto Progress way (A5230). Follow the main road over the next few
roundabouts. You will pass Morrison’s supermarket and the airport on your left. At the
end of the road (Seafront) you will come to a set of traffic lights, turn right to the Pleasure
Beach (fun fair). Carry on up the sea front past the pleasure beach on your right, Past
the Sandcastle on your left, Past the South pier on your left, Through the traffic lights
going past the Viking and Queens Hotel on your right. Next you will pass McDonalds on
your right, now look for Yates Bar, and take the second right turning on the right
(Alexandra Road). The New Yorker café (orange sign) is at the bottom of the road.
Tuxford hotel is on your right.

By Train
Blackpool South station 5 minutes walk.
Leave by steps from platform up to Waterloo Road
Turn left
Pass Apollo bingo, turn right at Royal Oak pub.
Alexandra Road is 5th road on left
Tuxford House is on your left 100 yards.
Change at Preston, hourly service to South Station.
Note Pleasure Beach Station is a much longer walk to Tuxford House.
Blackpool North Station is a 20 minute walk.
