Tuxford House Hotel is only a few minutes walk from Blackpool's South Shore for the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle, Waterworld (which has the longest water flume in Europe), and the rides and Laughing Donkey bar on the South Pier. Blackpool Tower, Central Pier, Winter Garden, Blackpool's Grand Theatre and all the town centre attractions are a short walk in the opposite direction. The Blackpool Illuminations are at the end of Alexandra Road, so you can either stroll the Golden Mile or ride on a vintage tram through the 5 miles of the lights.
